Taje is a fiery young woman, to put it lightly...

Always striving for adventure and a seeker of thrills, she was born on the outer most cusp of the Burn along the southeastern Ilsabardian side, on the coast of the Knowing Sea – her birth was one celebrated as the people known as the "Al Bhed" amongst Ilsabard were growing few and far. Having left the tumultuous comfort of the Bedohls Burn settlement, she travels Hydaelyn with her kin, seeking more gil to her name and excitement to be had.While her poor common and childish tendencies might make her appear docile, it would be smart to not let your guard down. She is a mischievous and reckless woman, always willing to do whatever it takes to get her way.

The woman loves little more than riches, not much able to come between her and her desire for gil.» Travel... Not one to stay still for long, Taje is constantly on the move. While her current settlement is in the excavation site in Sagolii, she goes just about anywhere she pleases.» Business... While her attitude might make this particular tidbit somewhat surprising – Taje has a formal education in financing. Taught via a Bozjan private tutor who sought refuge in the Bedohls Burn Settlement in the wake of the late destruction of the Citadel, Taje uses this skill for personal bookkeeping. This fiscal knowledge is also put toward being the head financial manager of her proprietorship – Taje's Machina Faction, a settlement located out of the Sagolii in Southern Thanalan.» Hobbies... Taje is an eccentric woman, and with such comes eccentric behaviours and activities. She has a particular love for making fireworks – as well as playing and repairing Hurdy-Gurdys.» Ferret... Typically seen either trailing along, or upon Taje's person, is that of her trusted ferret companion Nyd-Puo. She is often seen feeding the long creature snacks, talking to it and is known to use it to help her clean out her machina. She acquired it during a questionably-legal scavaging of an 'abandoned' poachers caravan, finding two of the creatures trapped in cages and keeping one for herself.» Not Interested... Taje is aro/ace and therefore not looking for any sexual or romantic encounters. She's not a shippable character, and this is not a challenge to try. Also, her often revealing outfits are not an invitation for unsolicited OOC sexual advances. How a woman chooses to dress is not an advertisement, so please reserve your weird tells for someone seeking out that sort of roleplay and respect Taje's boundaries, OOC.If your character chooses to make advances exclusively ICly, that's tolerable from a writing perspective, as I can't expect them to have meta-knowledge that the character is ace/aro. That being said, the encounter will always end in a rejection, just so you as the writer understand and accept this. In the case you go through with this, it must be done in say, though, I absolutely will not respond to a sexually/romantically charged post in tells.» Noticeably Third Eye-less... A Garlean without a third eye... curious. That said, for those who may happen to get a glimpse on a very rare occasion under those goggles of hers, would notice Taje has a strange and eerie pair of emerald green eyes, the irises within them swirled. To some, this is a mysterious condition. However, anyone whose characters may be familiar with the homebrew at the bottom of this page may be acutely aware of why this is the case.
